Summer Sorbet – MOD MAX GLAM

Summer is now in full swing and the soaring temps require a frosty, sweet and citrus treat to beat this heat! These Strawberry-Lime Sorbets are out of this world G O O D and super easy to make {No ice cream machine needed}.

1 pkg fresh strawberries, sliced ( about 4 cups) 2-4 tbs sugar (depending on how sweet your strawberries are) Zest of 1 lime Juice of 1 lime 1 cup water

1 medium shallow glass baking dish

In the bowl of your food processor or blender, add the strawberries and puree into a smooth consistency. Next, in a small saucepan add 1 cup water, 1 cup of the strawberry puree and the sugar. Bring to a gentle boil and cook for 2 minutes. Add this mixture to the remaining strawberry puree then add the lime zest and juice. Stir to combine and pour in a shallow glass baking dish. Place in the freezer and use a fork to scrape the mixture as it freezes every 30 minutes until you are left with a light and fluffy sorbet! This process should take about 2 to 3 hours.

Serve in frosty glasses with a wedge of lime for garnish!
