During the week I’m not a huge breakfast person and on the weekends it’s all about a glorious brunch but breakfast is still the most important meal of the day and I need something that’s fast, easy and satisfying. Did anyone say…… Oatmeal?! Instead of all those fancy flavors with added sugars and artificial flavors, I prefer to stick to plain ol’ original and embellish it with delicious little treats.
I love adding fresh berries such as blueberries, raspberries, sliced strawberries, apples and even bananas. I also add almonds, walnuts, dried cranberries, chocolate covered raisins, granola and even coconut flakes to transform an otherwise boring bowl of oatmeal
