Have you ever been to a party and your wine glass mysteriously disappears or you accidentally mistook someone else’s glass for yours? Well, that’s happened to me so many times that it’s kind of annoying! Here’s a really cool DIY idea to make sure that never happens again. Enter the Chalkboard Wine Glass! The bottoms of stemware are dipped in chalkboard paint which allows you to label your glass and conveniently locate it when you need a refill.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Wine glasses
- Chalkboard paint
- Painter’s tape
- 1 small disposable dish
Step 1. Using the painter’s tape, wrap the tape just above the foot of the wine glass.
Step 2. Pour enough chalkboard paint to cover the bottom of the wine glass into your small disposable dish.
Step 3. Dip the entire bottom of the wine glass into the chalkboard paint.
Step 4. Slowly lift the glass out of the paint, allowing the excess to drip off.
Step 5. Carefully invert the wine glass to dry for about 24 -48 hours.
When it’s dried, you’ll be able to write on this newly painted surface. Please be sure to handwash these chalkboard wine glasses!
