APARTMENT TOUR – MOD MAX GLAM

Welcome to my home! Having moved from San Francisco to Miami just 1 year ago, it has definitely been quite an adjustment from the weather to my lifestyle but I am loving everything that this beautiful beach city has to offer. When it came to choosing an apartment, my #1 must have was a high-rise with breathtaking views of the water and when I walked into this apartment, it was love at first sight.

My personal style is quite modern and contemporary with lots of texture and natural elements and if you don’t know by now, I’m a huge fan of ALL-WHITE-EVERYTHING! So…. naturally, I chose white as my canvas and used soft yet refreshing colors to add visual interest. After purchasing the major furniture pieces, I needed to make this apartment feel like a home and so I headed to one of my favorite places in the world, HomeGoods! It’s my go-to for finding beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces that will instantly add a healthy dose of style to any space without breaking the bank!

ENTRYWAY

As you enter the front door, there is a little bench area to take off your shoes. {FYI, I’m kind of a germaphobe and will make you take your shoes off if you come over for a visit} I found this chic woven basket with gold details at HomeGoods and use it for stashing everyday shoes and sandals.

LIVINGROOM

I chose a white leather sofa because it’s durable and easy to keep clean as opposed to a white upholstered piece. I wanted this room to be fresh and inviting so I chose green and gold decorative accessories.

DINING ROOM

I love to entertain and even though my 1 bedroom apartment is small, it was very important to me to have a proper dining area for intimate dinner parties and gatherings. In this dining room, I can easily accommodate 6 guests!

Balcony

This view is what sealed the deal for me! I have spectacular views of both the bay as well as the city. I love spending time on my balcony and wanted this space to be an extension of my livingroom. I found this fabulous outdoor rug at HomeGoods and it’s actually one of my favorite decorative pieces in the apartment.

BEDROOM

I wanted the look of my bedroom to be clean, cozy, modern and slightly monochromatic with shades of navy, white and black. As always, I love to bring freshness into a room with beautiful flowers.

HOME OFFICE

My workspace needs to be clean and organized at all times or else I literally will not be able to concentrate……. so I picked up a desk with lots of storage and added a floating shelf above it.

INSPIRATION

I am often inspired by the world around me, so I hung an inspiration board on my wall where I pin cut-outs from magazines, or design sketches I’m working on. I love it!

VANITY

Getting dressed in the morning is a lot of fun especially when you have all of your accessories neatly organized and in plain sight. I am also a huge fan of this mirrored tray which I picked up from West Elm. It makes anything you put on it look chic and sophisticated!

So…….. that’s pretty much my cozy little home and I hope you enjoyed this little apartment tour. I’ll be switching up my decor for fall very soon and I can’t wait share this new transformation with you.
